5XXX Series
Aluminium 5754 is a medium-to-high strength, non-heat-treatable 5XXX series alloy containing approximately 3% magnesium. Its good deep-drawing behaviour, weldability and corrosion resistance in marine and industrial atmospheres make it widely used in automotive interior panels, fuel and transport tanks, ship structures and welded fabrications.
