Aluminium 7075 General Properties
Aluminium 7075 is a high-strength, heat-treatable 7XXX series alloy containing a high proportion of zinc together with magnesium and copper. It offers one of the highest strength levels among the common aluminium wrought alloys. The T6/T651 tempers target maximum strength, while the T73/T7351 tempers target improved stress corrosion resistance. It is used in aircraft fuselage and wing fittings, motorsport parts, climbing equipment, bicycle components and precision mould plates.
